TURNING MELBOURNE’S PUBLIC TRANSPORT NETWORK INTO THE MEDIA CHANNEL TO LAUNCH LATE-NIGHT TRAVEL

To promote Melbourne’s all-night public transport service, we showed a whole city how to stay up later and discover the best of the city. Our team of 80 ‘Late-Night Explorers’ stayed up till dawn to explore Melbourne and capture content for over 200 executions.
While you could follow every person’s journey to plan your own night out, we also OOH, hyper-targeted social, a live music event that toured the network, and Spotify playlists that could only be accessed on public transport.
The result? The public transport network became the media channel - every stop had its own ad with suggestions on what to visit nearby.
Explore the Night was a finalist at Cannes in the Media Lions.
